OEM Warranty

Automakers are not permitted to void an OEM warranty based solely on the owner's practice of extending oil drain intervals. Although dealership employees and district managers may be unaware of the long-term serviceability of synthetic oils, they cannot void a warranty claim based on the owner's history of changing oil at extended intervals. This does not rule out the possibility of a manufacturing or workmanship issue being the root of the problem.

The vehicle owner may appeal to a manufacturer representative if the dealership and district manager are unable to properly resolve the warranty claim. Factory representatives understand the relevance of used oil analysis and do consider preventative maintenance oil analysis reports when considering warranty claims, while post-failure oil analysis is critical to the resolution of a warranty claim. Their findings have more weight than the opinions of the dealership or district manager.

AMSOIL manufactures exceptional synthetic motor oils that can withstand lengthy draining. AMSOIL is dedicated to standing behind its products and safeguarding the interests of its consumers. As a result, AMSOIL INC. provides a warranty to its consumers.

AMSOIL synthetic motor oils are developed to exceed engine test criteria, providing significantly more protection for prolonged drain intervals than competitor motor oils. Most synthetic oil makers make no promise to longer drain intervals, instead of relying on the vehicle manufacturer's maintenance plan. AMSOIL's unrivalled oil and warranty program provides consumers with unmatched protection and value.
